Olympic History

Hook:Do you know about the ancient Olympic games?. It started in   776 BC in Olympia, Greece. there was one event that was 200 yard dash. It was only men that competed in the nude.The games were a religious  festival held every 4 years for the god Zeus.


In 391 AD the Roman invaded Greece two years later the olympic

games were abolished.

The 2008 Olympic were held in Beijing China. It was the first time woman  could compete in boxing woman from Brunei, Saudi Arabia and Qatar were allowed to participate.
